Who The F*$% Are The Joneses
Now I got po' money
Society had me, now the youth striving for
Mo Money! Mo Money! Mo Money!
Its funny how expectations
Lead to wasting
As we strive to keep pacing
In the subliminally abvious race
To keep up with the Jones
I want their stonses and their phoneses
How Much?....!! man FUCK the Joneses!
Keep chasin, ill stop hear and catch my breath
...and just
Take it all in
Like my forgotten brothers the Dogans
The Dogans are African show mens
In our society they would be Po' men
But in life they flow in
Using their melanin to know
Like they been knew space before the Europeans
Deeper than the debts of NASA
Type of intellect that would make an ASSA
Mysteriously knowledgeable, call them voodoo intellects
Being the very essence of that which they try to understand and describe.
As they use their techno savvy to see into space ass
Floating adrift, satellite, picture taking ass
Not knowing for sure, speculating, theory making, always right never wrong, but mostly wrong barely right, anti unity for right asses
Mean while the dogans live bare foot in the cliffs in Africa
With precise overstandment of the stars of distant Galaxy's
Which to the rest:
Imagined at best
Double take into the sky
They lie
Good try
Goodbye
Wait
Oh shit!
The data from techno savvy says the bare footed black men from the cliffs of Africa, the voodoo intellects.They... they..They were correct with pin point accuracy down to the star they said was there but we didnt believe them until technosavvy told us it was actually there plus the planet that orbited that star that they said was there is there too... techno savvy confirmed that aswell.
SO WHAT ARE WE REALLY LIVING FOR?
AND WHO THE FUCK! ... ARE THE JONESES?

Culture and the Capitalist Monsters
This is my artistic rendition of a capitalist society using culture as their fuel to power their monsterous businesses. Thus causing cultural expressions to become trends and fads thus diminishing its potential to grow into something contributable to humanity and creating a shallow perception of cultural inginuity for capital gain.
The Definition of Me
I am Me. In all the world, there is no one else exactly like me. Everything that comes out of me is authentically mine, because I alone chose it -- I own everything about me: my body, my feelings, my mouth, my voice, all my actions, whether they be to others or myself. I own my fantasies, my dreams, my hopes, my fears. I own my triumphs and successes, all my failures and mistakes. Because I own all of me, I can become intimately acquainted with me. By so doing, I can love me and be friendly with all my parts. I know there are aspects about myself that puzzle me, and other aspects that I do not know -- but as long as I am friendly and loving to myself, I can courageously and hopefully look for solutions to the puzzles and ways to find out more about me. However I look and sound, whatever I say and do, and whatever I think and feel at a given moment in time is authentically me. If later some parts of how I looked, sounded, thought, and felt turn out to be unfitting, I can discard that which is unfitting, keep the rest, and invent something new for that which I discarded. I can see, hear, feel, think, say, and do. I have the tools to survive, to be close to others, to be productive, and to make sense and order out of the world of people and things outside of me. I own me, and therefore, I can engineer me. I am me, and I am Okay.”

What is Fashion
OFFENSIVE
A Fashion Intellect understands the concept of perception and the affects it can have on everyday situations. The ability to perceive is one of societies strongest but also most debilitating characteristic in my opinion. The term " do not judge a book by its cover" had to have derived from some continuously fallible misconceptional trait. But where there is a misconception; there is room for exploitation, and as many great athletes know and understand, the best offense is a great defense. An author does not slap their title on a plain book cover and expect it to sell out the store. Understanding your market and strategy goes a long way in marketing and designing a book cover or sleeve. This is basic business 101. If the content of this book has best seller potential, it wont sell like it should if the cover does not speak to people. (figuratively speaking... or am I?... just kidding... or am I??) This is the mindset a Fashion Intellect should have when getting dressed for potentially progressive opportunities, which should be everyday.
A prime and most typical situation is a job interview. a Fashion Intellect should analyze as such:
- Type of job
- Position Environment (Work aspect)
- Position Requirements (What will be asked of you)
- Work Environment (Company Culture)
- How to be perceived
- Obvious Position Perception
Once the analysis is done, a compilation of the most appropriate outfit and persona can be selected. Now some of you might say... That's a bit much, throw on some slack, a button up and tie and your good to go...(I hope not), That seems conniving, or may ask what do you mean select a persona?shouldn't you be yourself?...
In my opinion, I do not think is it a bit much or the least bit conniving. Not if you understand that you are the master of your fate and the captain of your soul, as William Earnest Henley states in his poem Invictus. Also when I say select a persona I am in no way saying that you should pick from the vast personality types there are in this world and not be yourself. First let me say if you are interviewing for a position in which you feel like you have to be someone other than yourself, I hope that this is a temporary job and if it is not then that job is not for you (my opinion). With that said, human beings are complex creatures (well most of us). Their will be sides of us that will be ideal and sides that will lack luster in an interview and eventually job setting. The idea in selecting a persona is to identify and separate these character traits. Making a conscious effort to focus on executing the ideal traits and suppressing the lack luster traits as you see fit during an interview and any (potentially) important meeting. I call it being yourself, as you see fit for your benefit.
Fashion is way more than just clothes my friends. It is also a personification of who you are and the ability to express yourself. Expressing yourself in a way that makes others see you as you want them to see you. In short self branding.

Blind Intellectuals
I awoke realizing my intellectual is considered by most to be called a transexual always changing seeking out a newer existence but the persistence of my heart doesn't allow me to fail we were raised with the notion that god has a pre planned trail that we must follow with the eye site of Mr.Wonder have you ever sat back and wondered if that yellow brick road that Dorothy followed was nothing more than a dream that Martin Luther had that was hollowed ........ Or swallowed by the doubt of pessimism into the belly of abyss returning my wonder with nothingness ... Leaving me back at square one wondering... But as I lookback feeling like an ass...I understand... I understand! This shit happened only to nurish my greater self... So as I wonder on wondering till the next meal... I smile for this blessed feel
FASHION, TRENDS, AND THE CAPITALIST MONSTERS
Societies youth today can take a lot from this quote by Edna Chase. With the term "swag" widely used, although highly misunderstood, fashion trends are getting way out of hand. Used as capitalistic marketing tactics, trends are no longer natural reactions of societies psyche, but are testaments to big business and their marketing departments. Manipulation of consumer susceptibility to the media and the influence of societies perception of hierarchical characters, are leading to the creation of capitalistic kingdoms. Further tipping the balance of buying power into the hands of the "Royal Family" ... Big Business. So the Question is not whether a trend can be stylish, but whether or not the trend is right for you? Style not only marks a person that can dress, but also a person that has a sense of ones own self. If you can see past the illusionary tactics of "marketing" and have a good sense of ones self, you are already on the road to being a stylish individual.

Words From:
"Now is the accepted time, not tomorrow, not some more convenient season. It is today that our best work can be done and not some future day or future year. It is today that we fit ourselves for the greater usefulness of tomorrow. Today is the seed time, now are the hours of work, and tomorrow comes the harvest and the playtime."
With these words from W.E.B Du Bois I choose to strike a match to relight that flame with in our very being as humans, to stive and progress forward in ways we only dreamed of. Today, not tomorrow. Right now, not later. It is our job to "be", as it is in our title as Human Be-ings.
